Call for Volunteers

As a Kinesiology Instructor I am always striving to provide the best possible learning experience for every student I teach. As part of that ongoing professional development, and in conjunction with the college I currently teach at, I have the opportunity to demonstrate 'live' kinesiology consultations as a learning experience.

What this involves is a client presenting themselves at the college, at a specified time, for approximately 1 to 2 hours. You will then have a kinesiology session with me while we are observed by a class of kinesiology students. The students may interact with us, in the form of asking relevant 'practitioner' questions, or offering their own insights regarding the session. 

You will remain annonymous, as your privacy is precious. Your name and your personal (and identifiable details) will be kept completely out of the session. However, you will be required to share information that is relevant to your particular session.

The purpose of this is so that students have the opportunity to observe the client/practitioner interaction, the process of obtaining information, building a goal, planning a session, conducting a session and completing the consultation - within the boundaries of their current level of study.

The benefit to you is that you get a kinesiology consultation with me at no cost!!

This could be a one off experience for you, or you could choose to volunteer numerous times. Dates and times would be confirmed through the year, however it is likely that this opportunity will only occur 2-4 times during the year.

The first opportunity is coming up shortly (early feb).

What I require at this point in time is an expression of interest from you so that I can identify who is interested and communicate with you seperately to identify your interest level, explain the process more fully and sort out availability. An email from you would not obligate you to be involved, it simply lets me know that you might be interested if the circumstances suit you.

Please let me know as soon as you can. You are welcome to pass this opportunity on to someone else also, as first time kinesiology clients are excellent teaching tools too!

Hi There,

I've joined the team at the Absolute Well Being clinic, alongside Breanna, once again.

It's a pleasure to be of service to the northern suburbs as I know this is a busy metropolis these days, in need of attention and community.

My services include a Traditional Chinese Medicine viewpoint of Acupuncture, combined with massage and acupressure application. For full descriptions please have a look at the website under "TCM Acupuncture" on the left hand menu.

There are a wide range of areas which I am experienced in; particularly post surgery rehabilitation, women's issues, fertility & health, emotional care and elderly attention; as well as general health care. Treatments are individualised to suit your needs & discussed prior to commencement.

If you have never had a Kinesiology session before, it is recommended to book an initial Kinesiology consultation prior to attending combination services in order to get the most out of your treatment time.
